The VFISH "Match Of The Day" series of matches started officially on 1st April 2009 @ 00:00 using a cracking 'FUN' venue 'Cartoon Coast'. Everyone is welcome to take part but you need to be a VFISH member so that we can correctly allocate your catches to the right angler.   We will display a live catch screen and a daily results table for previous days of the month.  At the end of each month the results will be 'Rolled Up' and added to the Monthly results screen.  
VFISH does not tolerate cheating in any way, shape or form and will be working hard to remove anyone found altering any files to gain advantage (Yes we know who is doing it and how).  Any angler deemed as cheating will be banned from our servers for a minimum of one month. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Windows Vista users: FS2 sends the 'current date' rather than the FS2 angling date. To compete in the MOTD the only way we have found around this is to set your PC date to the match date less say 2 minutes so you can enter the match. Note that you will have to restart FS2 after changing the date if you already had it running. Horrible I know but there is no other solution at this time.

Fish anytime during the day until 23.45 GMT (so last entry is 22:45 GMT to get your full hour).
Catches count 1 hour from the time of your first catch in each daily session
See the Spectator Screen for your time remaining. Close to the end of your hour a bell/horn/warning sound will be played if you are currently viewing the spectator screen.

You must be fishing on the following date, venue and peg for your score to count
If you are logged into VFISH the spectator screen will show you if you are on the wrong venue or FS2 angling date.
This is NOT an easy challenge so you will need to do your homework. Pegs, venues, dates and times have been chosen to avoid the well known hot times.

At the start of each day (00:00 GMT) a new venue will be set for the Match of the day. The aim is to catch the highest weight of fish from the venue in one hour, any specie will count and you can use any method (apart from electro-netting).
We give a suggested time based on our experience but any time is valid.
The results page will show the top anglers for each day and an angler of the month on the last day of each month.
