Submitting records from Version 2.11h

(WARNING: This is an advanced change and may alter your FS2) |
FS2 Version 2.11h no longer submits records to the VFISH website.

To re-enable submitting to VFISH you must make the following changes:
|
|
| AIM: To replace the existing 2.11h version of records.ini with the older 2.11g version. This will then submit records to the VFISH website. |
|
| 1. find the '.inf' folder in your fishsim install directory |
|
|
2. find the file 'records.ini' and rename to records211h.ini
(If you cannot see the '.ini. bit on the end click Tools..Folder Options..View and unclick "Hide extensions for known file types")

|
| 3. If you still have 2.11f or 2.11g installed elsewhere copy the records.ini file from the inf folder in there to the same folder of your 2.11h installation. (If NOT get the file from below and rename to records.ini after download) |

| Restart FS2 (if it was running) |

Changing back:
|
|
| AIM: To change the records submitting back to the 2.11h method |
|
| to revert back to the 2.11h way of submitting records you need to effectively reverse the process |
|
| 4. locate the records.ini file in the .inf folder of fishsim2 - rename it to records211g.ini |
|
| 5. In the same folder (.inf) rename the records211h.ini file that you changed in step 2 above to just records.ini. |
|
| Stop and Restart FS2 (if it was running) |
|
| |
|
| If you find that records no longer work simply re download the file for your version from the selection below by right clicking and saving the file to your fishsim2/inf folder and renaming the downloaded file to recorss.ini. |
